I didnt thought I have to write this down, but you people dont get standard business logic, so here advice from someone who knows that shit:
- If you wanna get paid, make your own contract and let a lawyer look over it.
- always have a lawyer on retainer and enough money for him/her.
- nothing is real without a signature.
- your clients should know that you're gonna sue them if they don't pay.
- don't go easy on anyone, here an easy way to decide if you should sue:
Didnt pay? Sue.
Breaks contract? Sue
Asks for later payment? Dont
- always code in a killswitch, trust me you're gonna need it.8 -
Teacher:"We're gonna write client side javascript, todays javascript is fast enough"
Me: "ok, cool, are we gonna use ECMA6 or Harmony?"
Teacher: "we need to keep it supportable for all platforms, so we are gonna use ECMA4"
Me:( internal screaming )8 -

Started Computer Science class yesterday, but i code like 12 years. My fellow mates mostly never coded in their life. They think its gonna be easy. They think they will have a social life. They think their gonna get sleep.
Those fools.11 -
I just realized i didnt push my BREAKING api changes for at least 2 Weeks, tomorrow is the initial deployment and either my code or the teams code is not gonna work, still deciding which is more important <.<

Just found my first piece of code I wrote 12 years ago, back then OOP was still the thing, man I literally fucked up everything you could fuck up about shared state. Why exactly have we never found a solution for that shit? -
I get why people like to split code in multiple files for maintainability but its a fucking nightmare if you want to understand code and you have to go from file to file to file to find the origin of 1 API-Call.1

Boss says electron-app needs to run on win/mac/linux, but we cannot compile for mac, because we have none. And we cannot use TravisCI for reasons. Welp.7
