@Fast-Nop this actually makes complete sense. But I think I just question it because of their lack of technical experience, meaning everything has to sort of be served to them. A lot of times I feel like they ask "is this something that I should test" and maybe that's ok to ask? However, honestly I'm just a developer who makes stuff and try to ensure that they work, so I suppose there are still alot that I just have to learn as well in a corporate sense of doing things.

@seraphimsystems or perhaps gaymums.com?
-
I mean to me, fuck is that not that much of a swear word, unless it's used with a noun. It more an adjective-enhancer, to make something even more than very much of some adjective
-
@kaiyum2012 right, I was thinking of the Tesla ones. I don't want to consider the money spent 😅
-
Aren't these the V100 og whatever they're called?
-
@speedForce I mean I haven't been part of anything crazy yet and have nothing to compare to (php/node/whatever) but from what I've been told, rails can be your average web development framework, but if implemented correctly, it can become crazy efficient in terms of both speed as well as functionality. But then again, suppose that's how it is with any other framework/language.

This is the kind of thing that makes me question my decision to study computer science 🙈
-
Man, sometimes I envy you americans, those prices are neat AF. The i7 13,3 inch 720 goes for $1200 on best buy. If you were to buy the exact same computer here, you'd have to cash up with what equals to $1900 🙃
-
I'd buy a car, but that is just because I utterly despise our public transformation and if you are not a student or do not have a decent income, it could actually make you broke. But you could also buy a bicycle if that's possible? Those a cheap and lasts half a lifetime.

At this point in time, a ton of companies care more about your experience than what your degree is, so short answer: most likely not.
However, there still are a lot of consultant companies or whatever, who simply are that big, that they couldn't be arsed to hire people without a masters degree, if you're into that sort of thing. Although, I consider that to be too snobbish, so I'd rather not bother applying for those. But I'm as of now, doing a bachelors myself, just to have something to show and something to fall back to is everything goes to shit. -
@Binary could you recommend one for gui apps then? Or you prefer the C one?
-
@Binary I'm not sure who to reply, but is SFML mainly for C++ game development or is it actually good for any application?
-
Which switches have you got?
-
@2nd2NULL As of now I'd say C# and C, but I suppose theory is the same regardless? So whatever really. Am I mistaken that you have to make end points and access them from places in the GUI?
-
Am I the only one who has taken on a weird habit of using "one" when talking about someone of unspecified gender? I know that is mostly used for definitions, bu as I am not native english, I think "they" sounds weird and "he/she" is just too clunky for me.
-
@Cyanite but if it's Chinese sellers, I doubt anyone would bother try to sue these fellas, read somewhere it was a complete pain.
-
I'm pretty sure that thing is not going to blow up in your face at some point 🤔
-
@irene Might not be, but there are still packages that allows you to compile your sourcecode. Sorry if the initial statement hurt you ❤️
-
Where do I get a rubber duck like that?
-
@CodeMonkeyG Have you considered nano?
-
Sometimes I'd wish I has a newer MacBook and that I was used to roam around the OS. The terminal is much nicer to use compared to the 15 different terminals and prompts that you get on Windows.

My girlfriend has passwords for all my entertainment platforms (Netflix, Steam, etc.) but I think that is about it.
