@querellaMMXII hopefully not the diet heribo bears on Amazon :p
-
@varundey you forgot to git push
-
@Letmecode personally I prefer scotch, but I drink anything that comes my way.
Server down is not what I want to deal with while being tipsy, worst wake up call ever!
At the end, all we needed to do was to contact support and they stopped and restarted the instance, that was it, no data loss. Except for the minor heart attack :p -
@thmnmlst pretty darn awesome actually :)
-
@DavidGrohl there's only one company in the US that makes translucent blank keys for the corsair k series. Took me a while to find one that fits the bottom row profile.
-
Is it just me, or that it looks like the person took off his/her bathrobe and the person on the floor got a flaming crotch?
-
@wbunton have you seen the das keyboard in rainbow blank keys?
My old keyboard before the blue switches got worn out after 5 years of abuse. -
I upgraded my das keyboard with this rainbow blue switch blank monster.
-
@DarkMukke this will avoid having to do dual boot and repartition, potentially screwing up with windows. Ubuntu on Windows implements the Linux kernel in the windows environment. No mess there.
Or they could try with cygwin. -
@Spy653 you should look up "Bash on Ubuntu on Windows" for win 10.
It's a beta feature in Windows 10 that provides native support for Ubuntu. -
The only comment I have so far is that, Apache and IIS cannot share port 80.
But still, not bad if you need to test stuff in Ubuntu. -
Oh dear... I can imagine the shortcode loop running internally... Worst feature ever...
-
My work microwave is running on core 2 duo in the same fashion :)
-
@wsloth .Net Core now runs natively on Linux. You should check that out. My work used that on Ubuntu, the code was written in a way where it can horizontally scale out (relativelu to load/traffic) in aws. It's awesome!
-
@joshgallagher24 one word. Redgate.
Magical SQL tool. -
@SweetHuman because I'm an early user to devRant and I enjoy static Color backgrounds?
-
I assumed you haven't had the luxury to fix compatibility issues with IE6 or IE 5 for Mac?
-
Microsoft's own EDM doesn't align properly in Outlook 2016.
That's a bigger fail. -
Whatever you do, don't get the newest Mac with usb type c, or you'll have to carry dongles with you everywhere you go.
-
Well coded .net sites can handle any traffic. It needs good software planning with the support of good network infrastructure.
-
I once removed WordPress from a client's website and converted it to flat, that made roughly 3000% speed performance increase.
I once debugged into the backend code inside WP and you'd be amazed how inefficient it is for it to be 'plugin friendly'. -
@SweetHuman not as inactive as you think. I enjoy reading rants more than writing them :p
-
You should try "TheP@sswordIsIncorrect"
-
When I did mine in .net, I generated random pass phrase and generated an asp:Image object (with the random pass phrase & random image filters) on page load.
The answer is encrypted in a hidden form element and validated on post back.
It works well. :) -
@indiandev keep at it dude, with time, you'll only get better!
-
I have the top rant of all time here, just saying...
-
There wouldn't be any issues if you index the Boy column and Status column.
-
More to the point... Why taking a photo of a screen when you can screencap...
-
I think he's deleting his browsing history instead...
-
Pity those memories are completely empty and can only be accessed randomly :p
