I once published my app in 5 am in morning while working whole night. I just created a Key and password at that time and published my app. The next day, I had to update my app, and I forgot the password. That was the most stressful moment :/ I can feel the pain brother.
However after some hours of searching I found a brute force method to retrieve password from keystroke file.
You case is a bit more serious though.

The issue is resolved people.
Just in case this post serves as a wrong info.
Firebase Storage works perfectly and free.
I was using it the wrong way.
I just got confused with some outdated stackoverflow answers.

I was just having an issue installing mongoose with npm.
I upgraded npm a few hours back to 5.0.0.
Is this the solution to that problem too?
