Last weekend I started a project with a Angular front end and a WordPress backend.
The front end is for me so I can do the work faster. The backend is for the client that is slow at learning new technology. It's easiest to keep her WordPress setup
It's been a lot of fun setting up the jwt authentication but creating users has been a pain. I'm determined to work through it though.
Has anyone here else tried this? Any tips?4
Honestly I think you'll run out of new focus questions.
I'd be ok with seeing something different like current trending tags.
When I was 10 my younger brother saved over my fully completed pokedex in Pokemon blue.
First big data loss taught me a good life lesson. Now I backup everything on a local server.1
When I was younger I went to computer camps. We would basically play LAN games the majority of the time.
One year we played Jedi Knight Dark Forces II.
This game was super easy to hack since you would just save a local version of the file and it would override the game.
There was a god mode that you can download which would give your character 1 million in health and never die.
I then modified it so I had a health of 500. This way if I wanted to prove that I could be killed I would just call the kill command 4 times to bring my life back down to 100.
Manager: Make the page look like Apples.
Me: What is it you like about their page?
Manager: I don't know, it just makes me feel good.3
I can't stand talking to clients on the phone!
One of my first freelancing clients used to talk to me for an hour at a time. I really wish I could have billed him by the hour, it took him twice as long to explain anything and then I'd have to get back in the mindset for what I was working on. The phone is just so disruptive.
I'm so much happier working for a company where the project manager deals with the client's and product managers.2
