I first used one of those at a photo studio 15 years ago.
Tried to use it again a few months back, no OS would run its old software.

@lotd I even had them color code, but I think turquoise and darker blue were still not good enough for me.

I'm always paranoid that languages or frameworks I'm using will be obsolete and submarine my career; so, when I see increasing talk or job postings with languages I don't know, I'll build something in it just to hedge my bets.

Could you find a speckle pattern and glare alpha masks to overlay. Maybe even change color a little on scroll to give that dimensioned car paint feel.

The bathrooms at every office I've worked at are magic. I'll toil for an hour on a problem, finally take a 10-100, suddenly think of something else to try, and vuala!

@ghostlkr Ah! I experienced a problem with tables adding an extra page. I think table{ table-layout: fixed } helped in one instance, but had to just give-up and use floated divs.

@ghostlkr hmmm images haven't been a problem for me, but It's not surprising.

Wkhtmltopdf is the best I've found, but still quirky and even harder when going through Drupal. This took up all last week.

I'm in the same boat. I think as a developer, time is a major issue. Knowing that any idea would pretty much need to be your only project for the foreseeable future, makes you very gun shy.

I envy the graphic designers that can whip together something exciting in a few days' worth of spare time.
