Anchor in park? Am I doing this right?

Your brain is trying to tell you something... looks like you are tired or worse... Respect your brain, it's your better asset 🙂

I code in PHP, so I don't get it...

I feel ya, I'm stuck in the same situation, i guess it is some kind of fatigue / nervous breakdown... Happens to me from time to time. And when it happens (more often than i'd like) i just step back and do some more easier / simple things or more valuable things like enjoy time with friends and family aka not programing till the 'need' of coding comes back. I guess it's a kind of light depression. Anyway, I take it as a body signal to take me care of myself. Hope you are doing well, cheers

I second @wvitguy, what you actually want is i3 desktop, it really is the best of both worlds for power users, give it a try, there is no turning back

Phptherightway is the shit! There are a lot of bad tuts out there, this one is actually great

@taylorviktorya what is considered passive aggressive or just aggressive for a woman is seen as bossy/normal applied to men in the workplace... Fucked up world we live in... You are not aggressive, just making your job actually

@caramelCase i vomited in my mouth, that sounds like an easily avoidable PITA! I feel ya!

I sit on it everyday for more than a year now between 6 and 8 hours, my back thanks me. From time to time, i use an ordinary chair cause really exhausted or meeting room, but i find it uncomfortable. You should try it, it could be a game changer, it's actually awesome. The height of your desk is important, the ball should be in a correct size depending how tall you are, and it requires some try and error to find the right inflation, but when done right, it's a delight

But latency is awful...

If you are building a portfolio, use github, it's the de facto way to show your skills, if you need private repos, use gitlab.
Depending on your location, gitlab can be slow so hell, but has some interesting features -
we all did + do bro... I feel ya

clients are always right, that's why they never take no for an answer. there's an easy fix to that, anything beyond initial scope is subject to a new invoice, try it, and you'll figure sooner or later that they can actually think twice before asking stupid things or reconsider them. Worst case scenario, they still want but agree to pay. And bill frequently plus upfront payment. That's how you make clients respect your work. more money for you, less headaches
TL;DR :dont say no, send an invoice, they'll reconsider -
it's meant to say I DON'T GIVE A SHIT ANYMORE, FUCK LOGIC AND FUCK CSS

beside everything, college is a social advantage, suck it up and finish your degree, so you won't even get how much you shouldn't regret it. it's a PITA at the moment, the best choice on the long run

on chrome, you have an option to remove caching when dev tools are open. But then you have to not forget opening dev tools. If you have an assets pipeline, cache bursting is a must-do, cause it forces te downloading for your visitors also.

I do too, caught me once only, an array followed by a parenthesis on the next line. Apart from that, be sure to use a preprocessor or transpiler and everything will be fine
