Just started work at this new company as a backend developer and immediately got into a heated argument with one of the front end guys.

Poor guy has been a front end developer for 5 years and doesn't know how to submit a form input as an array.

PHP doesn’t scale. Riiiiiight. Wikipedia runs entirely on PHP and is the fifth most visited site on the internet. There’s also this little site called Facebook that uses PHP, ever heard of it?

PHP is slow. Sure, old PHP can be slow. The argument is about as sound is saying that OS X is a terrible OS because my first Apple IIe was slow. PHP 7 is plenty fast, even three time faster than Python.

Why do you try to be so different, to the point where you make the error messages obscure?

Google the error message I get in the Chrome debugger - hundreds of results.

Google the error message I get in the Firefox debugger - I can count the results with my fingers.

Just use the same error messages god damn it.

P.S: Also, why is there no fucking option to open an image in a new tab, like in Chrome?

People who feel the need to utter "i use arch btw" in every single post are just as annoying as vegans.

Safari is such an underrated browser.

It's damn beautiful with the new Mojave dark mode and the developer tools are excellent.

The performance is identical to Chrome and the memory consumption is much smaller.

I seriously encourage everyone on macOS to give it a try.

P.S: This is coming from a person who has been using Chrome since its release.
