@gitstashio Italy. Avg. it income (25k €/year. Payscale.com). Depending on the field, a nurse (ok, night shifts but hey), or a construction worker can earn 1.5/2.5 more than a it professional in any position.
-
@Floydian it was obviously provocative (btw in my country it's not the highest payed domain).
-
Same here. Also, Prettier all the things!
-
Too much? 😂
-
Ah, the memories...
-
TES VI Confirmed!
-
@rstular nope, just visiting the country (I'm from Italy)
-
@aldoblack jesus..
-
@TheHanna the project run exclusively on their intranet but you obviously have a point.
-
@joycestick it would be nice having that policy in our agency too
-
There's nothing wrong with that.
-
@CatMDV used on 80%+ websites worldwide and still hated as language, it's unbelievable. Probably as you said, hating it t's only a status symbol.
-
GitHub, easier management, community, 1st class host, although not free, it's not very expensive for a year.
-
@ScriptCoded it depends by the projects you are working on, global trends are on stack overflow I think
-
I think the real world definition of Full-Stack dev is someone who's a jack of all trades, or a language polyglot. So, the stack may always vary, as the market trends.
-
Systems not connected and physically protected, so they're like, backups?
-
That's a global browser update, for a11y, any link has now the equivalent CSS propriety "text-decoration-skip:ink" by default
-
Bugs are everywhere, and solving them is part of the game. Keep up, hero, and I'm sure someday they assign you a whole project ✌️
-
@MisterArie yes we'll do like that for sure, so we can avoid a lot of time waste.
-
@LynxMagnus definitely, but since they are on tight deadlines, I just thought their developer (which I am not in contact with) could be happy with a simple include in order to separate the content (I assumed they use some sort of MVC model for the functionality)
-
Why not Bootstrap 4?
-
Newton for VSCode
-
Define "average", much depend on functionality and what the client had to control. That being said, an "average" website it's 100€ [120$] per page (I live in northern Italy).
-
It sucks, but probably with zeplin or invision your workflow will even improve, having the designers to cut all the assets by themselves so you can focus on the front-end
-
Maybe there are so many things to learn an stay up to, that some of us don't have the time to shave or dress properly? Lol
-
Lots of them are made using leaflet.js, a very good mapping library.
You can see the stack (and an extensive example) here: https://github.com/designgears/... -
Anything of the following:
- "I have a startup idea, it's a social network for <extremely specific/useless market>..."
-"It's like <famous site> but different..."
-"I have pretty high 2k budget, can you make me a website like YouTube?"
-"It's really simple, I need JUST a chat app like WhatsApp"
-"Can you create me a functional demo first?"
-"Can I be online in two days starting from now?"
... -
@Lobidu lol good one
-
OR he's right about his title and everybody else are just imposters
-
VScode is quite new on the scene, give it some time, it has lot of potential
