@rutee07 my mom didn't want to get rid of an unopened cd-rom entitled "1001 clip art images that had been sitting next to her computer for years" she was just like "put it in the other room next to my sewing stuff". @devnulli if it was artwork someone posted I'd like it but as a company logo, I don't think it works very well. The background has too much going on. The frog in the middle, while memorable, is bland. If it was just the frog it wouldn't be as bad. It just screams poor graphic design and doesn't seem like a good logo to have for a software company.

I wouldn't be mad at this, 13 yo me was kind of a brony pegasister. It could be much, much worse.

I've never heard of gitlab before. I still have github student even tho I've graduated so I'm not going to switch until that's up but I might try it eventually.

@sheriffderek I still wouldn't replace what I have until it stops working. It's not only an enviornmental thing. I don't want to just let something go to the landfill when it still has use. If I had $400,000 I'd buy something with room for expansion so maybe I'll still use it as long as possible.

Different people have different preferences and needs. I don't get why everyone cares so much. I write my code on a used HP elitebook laptop I bought the summer after my first year in college because that was what I could afford and I needed a new one that had 16 gb of ram, an ssd, and an alright enough processor to do what I wanted it to. 3 years later it's still running. Yeah it's a 2015 model, yeah I want to get something better. I just don't need to yet. Run the fucker into the dirt. Some people prefer always having the latest and greatest and that's their choice. Some people get what they can afford. Some people want to game with LED lights.

I had a free trial while in college and it was literally pointless it basically does nothing. Only reason I'd use linkedin premium if offered to me for free again by a university or job.

I don't think people read blogs as much as they used to. I mean no one is stopping you from having it but it might not get much traffic.

I wish all sites I had to enter my phone number into allowed me to just type it like 1234567890. Requiring me to format with () or - is kind of pointless. It's great it if does it automatically, but getting an error because I didn't type (123)-456-7890 is annoying. This seems especially common for job applications.

Sometimes when you have limited space that's what you got to do. When I lived in a dorm that's what I had to do.

@junon I didn't end up submitting the application because this plus some of the other questions asked felt weird to me.

Update: They're gonna fix it at 8am tomorrow and gave us a space heater to have temporarily. The heat pump on the outside broke and we also have part of the thing on the inside broken. Still kind of cold but it's not decreasing every hour anymore.
