What's up with all these privacy update emails anyway?
-
@aritzh can't tell I use command line.

@Noob @irene you guys are arguing about something that is not being discussed here in the first place.
Here are the facts.
1) Updates happen with consent. They might be scheduled or user triggered. Including download and install.
2) Updates start at 0% and go to 100%
3) Once an update is completed the system resumes as usual.
What we are discussing is point 3. That when an update is done and we are ready to use the system. Windows puts this 'hi' screen at our face which takes extra time. Which is annoying.
If an update is done fine lemme use my goddamn PC! -
@Crapple Linux rules man

@irene thank you for highlighting the obvious settings that only noobs like to brag about knowing.
The point that your missing that 100% done means "done". No need to tell me "Hi, I've just done updating your PC. Now please wait another 10-15 mins before you can actually use it" -
Sometimes they treat us devs like cattle.
I wish they can see that they are the only asses in the room. Fuckers. -

@dontbeevil how is the experience at Teams? Do you find it better than slack?
-
@orto There are ways to do that. Like make it free and put a price on let's say master balls and stuff.
Give cool unlocks and even better Pokémon for premium accounts.
There are tons of ways to make money, you just need the right mindset. -
@calmyourtities used it a while ago. It was crapy as hell. Slow and dain a lot of battery. Will give it another shot though.

@orto @Jop-
It makes sense if someone like Sony to make consoles for TV lounge style gamming. I totally agree and they should stick to that.
However, when it comes to Nintendo, it doesn't makes sense that I carry a GBA or Switch in my brief case.
Pokémon like games are meant to play whenever and wherever you are. If I have to buy a Nintendo console to keep in my bedroom, I would seriously prefer a PlayStation or Xbox instead.
It's intuitive to have a Pokémon game on Android and iOS. Doesn't it makes sense for such a game with reasonable graphics and fun gameplay to be on a device you literally carry everywhere? It would actually enhance the experience with extra benefits like GPS and stuff. They don't have to kill their console. Just put added features in it. -
@calmyourtities it sucks
-
@CWins if it doubles my audience reach why not?
I might not purchase a Nintendo switch but I would download an app that just needs in-app purchases. -
@catintroholic oh, we are a startup so this is an incubation center. We have an office and space for employees to work.

The same thing happened to me. A guy from our co-working space convinced us to use Firebase. A week later we couldn't find that fucker anywhere.
Ohhh I so hate my slowpoke app running with firebase now! -
@Raamakrishnan The problem with these kind of designer git is the support they provide. Usually they are restricted to images like png or jpg. Or mostly they want you to edit stuff in their editor.
Now my designers love working with .psd or .ai files. Which are too hard to follow for git repos. So essentially everytime I push I am uploading a major deal of graphics.
Plus I don't want my designer to learn new tools, like online editors. I just need to get things done :) -
