I have been asked to submit a piece of code for review for an interview, something I'm proud of writing.

What kind of code snippet would you submit? (A custom sort.. a tricky bit of data manipulation etc)

What manager says: You should support IE because a very large portion of our userbase is already there and they somewhat comply with web standards so it shouldn't be that hard. Also most good sites support IE so we should support it too.

What web developer hears: blah blah blah SUPPORT IE blah blah blah SUPPORT IE
