@dnldnldnld Well the idiotic behavior of the new CEO was expected, because he wants to show that he can lead the company to a better future. So he must remove the “old and bad” stuff and build new ones. Hence, the reason he tossed two fundamental projects. This does not mean he is correct, I just explain the situation.
As far as the senior dev goes, as you said he wants to be liked by the management so he really does not care if he has to “sacrifice” all of you. To counter that, hire a thug to beat the shit out of him or do it yourself, it is more fun...
