what kind of design?

@nickj websites and that stuff. When i Think about it i hate all designing im not creative enough :/

@Hundeklemmen you won't be able to think about the design if you think too much, just go with the flow. creativity comes with the flow. you can do it!! *moral support*

Design is something that has to be studied just like any other discipline. You can be a creative person and a shit designer. If you hate it, don’t do it. Focus on what you do best and give it to someone who has worked hard to be a designer. Not everyone can design and not everyone should.

@helloworld Hmmm Im love to make the backend but there is noone to make the front end... So its always me :P Im not the person with that many friends becurse im like the only person in my class thats have interest for Computer and programming :/

@Hundeklemmen Sorry, I get it, it’s just a beef I have with clients in the main who think they know about design ‘cos they did art classes in 1982’, when they know fuck all and focus on aesthetics (and what they personally like) and completely ignore their own target audience and all the background research, target audience, historical equity, color psychology, typography, hierarchy, information architecture, layout etc. They think its just a case of wether something looks ‘nice’ in their eyes at a particular time on a particular day. Rant over 👍🏼

design is usually more about usability than aesthetics. however, they are still closely linked because something that is good to use and does not get in its own way often also looks good.

Maybe you can approach design better with this in mind. Stay focussed on the usage of that what you are designing and make it as easy and effective as possible.
