000webhost Is good, I mean it's free!! It would be better to pay for your hosting, but there are some situations where you just need a host to show a demo or something, and this one does the trick, paying nothing.

depends what you are doing and budget, you could use Vultr or Digital Ocean vps and host the stuff yourself, dunno about companies since I tend to host my own stuff, Im using VPS from a company I still have some credits from my last job though

@ocalderon they are the worst free provider there is, no shit.

@ocalderon they bombard your site visitors with ads, mostly with unblockable ones that change signature etc on purpose - they have implemented a "sleep" feature, where you have to decide each day an hour or was it a day? that your website is completely down

If you want to host smth static use surge.sh or zeit.co they are both rree

You already put in the effort to take a screenshot, next time try to keep it relevant
Nobody cares what browser or OS or theme you use, and a cropped down picture would help with the readability on this heavily compressed image.

Seriously though, people should know that they have to spend some money if they want something the way they want unless you are a delude entitled person that thinks that at least run advertising to provide you with a "free" is scummy

@legionfrontier I have mentioned entirely free solutions that don't and somebody mentioned also github pages, so calm your horses.

I have used bplaced.net at some point in the distant past and was quite happy with them. Just worked.

@Nithanim bplaced is the same trash as square7.net (which is the same hoster as bplaced, just offering 7gb free instead of 2gb) - they spam ads, randomly delete your account and files etc.

@JoshBent Interesting. That didn't happen when I used it but times change I guess.
I know someone that (I think) still uses it but I have not asked about that in a long time and got no angry call yet. Might catch up on that topic actually.

The square7 offer look a little bit too over the top to be free, I'll give you that.

@legionfrontier I rent my servers at those companies :). And no offense but for privacy reasons I'm not disclosing where I work ;)

000webhost got hacked a while ago and if i'm not mistaking they poorly or didn't hash there passwords
