Has anyone switched to Firefox Quantum? I have. I haven't missed Chrome at all.

    Probably half of people here switched to Quantum :) For the last couple of years i've been using Chrome for testing only

    Nope.
    I like my Chrome

    I have to say Firefox isn't quite as shiny(chrome), but it is fast. And that's all I really care about. Plus you can get theme packs.

    Not yet. Have you many tabs open.

    You know when someone is in an abusive relationship yet, they still stay or got back to it? That's me with Chrome. Aside the memory hog it is, I still love Chrome. Tried Quantum though, but went back to Chrome. 😁

    On chrome still but I use both browsers now

    @hazelnutlatte i think so too.
    @coolq I agree. Chrome still looks better, but firefox for me has been really fast and stable, plus extra RAM doesn't hurt.

    Only thing I miss is chrome's print panel.

    I did, on all my devices.
    Same result, I don't miss chrome.

    I did. I still use chrome for the odd thing here and there, but for the most part I'm sticking with quantum now. Although quantum is a bit buggy when it comes to SSL, I hate the fact that it forces a permanent exception rather than a one time visit.

    Chrome, what's that?

    I'm using it. Does anyone find it loads websites kinda slowly from time to time? I even fire up Chromium alongside to ensure its not my connection. Really weird.

    Rust, Rust everywhere

    @ArcaneEye Yeah and you can import most stuff across from chrome too.

    Firefox is ♡
    Chrome is only for compatibility testing.

    On my Macbook quantum actually draws more power and lags when showing CSS animations. Chrome runs smoothly but consumes waaaay more RAM

    I have tried Firefox Quantum. This guys did a great job however I' am not going to switch just now. Let's see what Google Chrome will bring to the table.

    Since the day I set Firefox as my default browser 2 days ago, chrome has used 202% of my cpu and then today Firefox used 80%. I don't know whether to see that as an achievement or not.

    @error503 Tracking, mostly.

    @cmarshall10450 I have 16GB ram and a core i7 cpu, Chrome still somehow manages to use it all. Chrome is like air - it will occupy whatever space you give it.

    I've been a firefoxer for ages because I'm quite anti Google but yeah it's fast!

    I switched to Quantum. Had a bunch of tabs open and made sure to change the settings to reopen previous open tabs. Closed Firefox. Next time I opened Firefox all the tabs were gone. I closed Firefox. Opened Chrome. Never looked back.

    Chrome has never failed me in it's reliability.

    I may have been too quick to sing the praises of Firefox. It's been using a lot of my cpu as well, 127% at one point. My laptop is 7 years old so it's probably just slowly dying and the cpu can't handle these new fangled technologies.
