44 years after Unix, Windows gets sudo. I'm proud of the little guy. He's starting to grow up!

That it comes with three options annoys me. Sudo must just do it's thing

I wonder how long it will take the rest of Windows to be more like Unix…

@Lensflare they should build a windows compatibility window manager and let me run that on Linux.

@Lensflare I would say the damage is too far gone for it to revert. Don't get me wrong, I don't necessarily hate Windows, but I would have much preferred the world had taken the side of unix-like-posix-compliant-masterace space on the desktop.

I dislike sudo with a passion. Also im pretty sure they named it sudo because its pseudo admin ability... i normally like puns too

@TeachMeCode what is sad is I looked at the game the other day (the new version) and I don't even recognize the franchise anymore. It seems like everyone is ruining their games anymore. I just want the old 2d arcade game. Not some rape me for hundreds of dollars garbage. I wish I still had my SNES with this game.

@TeachMeCode I should build an emulator so my kids can play the old versions. I would love to play the old game all day.

I have street fighter 6 on ps5, and I agree it can’t beat the old arcade. Seeing street fighter and mortal kombat at pizzerias was something I have extremely fond memories of. While you wait for pizza you go into the other room and beg your mom for quarters (I was like 9-10 lol) and then sit down for pizza and extremely fine root beer (not to mention the pizza grease smell on the joystick)

@TeachMeCode fuck yeah! We used to drive around SLC valley finding different places to play. We even found some hacked versions at the arcade.

@Demolishun yea... but they couldve made it anything like "ape" for "admin power execute" ...or thousands of others. I think they made it sudo because phonetically its the same as pseudo which is essentially a fake/knockoff of something.
