every time I encounter code that's not rust I get jealous because it's so much easier to understand what it's doing lol

but it's also ugly tbf

    to me beauty is mathematical rules being followed / consistent patterns (and the more complex, which are non obvious, are still beautiful even if you can't detect the whole thing right away)

    this might be universal?

    I do know art subjectivists actually literally make very ugly art
    humans, and all other creatures, themselves are complex mathematical rules / constructs, so it's quite possible if you have a bug in your own math construct you would begin to see ugly things as beautiful and nobody else will understand, because your own math error is reflective in the external object, so you're making the same math error when you look up on it and then it ends up looking beautiful to you, but only to you who has the same math error as the object (and maybe others with the same defect)

    so then subjectivists art people are glorifying math errors and degenerating beauty

    I don't have any data or experiences to contradict this theory, but can't say I've tried to falsify it ever
