I randomly find this so wholesome. Stuff like this gives me hope that one day we create software to move society forward, instead of leveraging psychology to make kids addicted to cancerous social media applications (looking at you, lizugg_erburg)

I talked to a dev one time who made phone games. He started doing AB testing to maximize people's tolerance of win/lose ratios in gambling like games. He found a sweetspot that would cause people to play his games for a long time. He purposely moved the ratio to reduce people playing the game too much.
