I really hate how stuff can disappear off the Internet, especially if it's behind a paywall. People aren't encouraged to download and archive stuff. I just wrote this script to archive things off of Locals:

I really rushed to get it done because my subscriptions are expiring, and I really no longer want to support these people:

lotta things have disappeared that used to be. nobody knows they used to exist anymore

like for example, nobody will remember devrant. small communities with 20 people or so? they never leave a trace. there were whole communities with thousands that just poof and only I remember them now

@jestdotty Dutch population is around 17 million and the social media site called hyves had 10 million Dutch users. Now, only three results when searching for it is about that once huge site. Totally forgotten. The site was sold while popular for 53 million euro and is now... An online game site 😂

But there's more forgotten - a drug that became very popular is totally removed from internet. p4 (4p?) granules. Weeeird. It's interesting how that specific drugs did lost the war on drugs.

There was once a virus that spread a specific link. The internet was full with it.. But now if you search for it, no results

I want to share my story to raise awareness and educate those who are experiencing financial losses due to scams, such as binary options, dating scams, real estate fraud, and fake ICOs. I personally lost around $85,000 to an IQ Option broker and two fraudulent binary option websites. However, I was able to recover all my lost funds with the assistance of a professional recovery service. It is possible to recover your money lost to scams, and I want to offer hope to others who are in a similar situation. You can reach out to EarthHackers via email at EarthHackers@proton.me, Telegram (EarthHackers), or WhatsApp (+16625189219) for help in recovering your funds.
