    Because it's utf-8. Why wouldn't they be supported? It's not the 80s any more, we have support for non-English characters now.

    because this is a part of how people write. You've only just noticed? If you don't like mainstream ways of communication, don't choose a mainstream OS.

    @DucksCanCode me too. It's important to remember that one billion seconds is 31 years, so you'll need around 250 years to run out of people if you spend one second per person. You can calculate that value for your country/your language/your culture. What I realized is that it's completely normal to not want to socialize with strangers. Having a few best friends plus their inner circle is more than enough for me.
