Who in their same mind use a terminal written in electron? Isn't the idea of the terminal to be as light as possible.

Why hyperterm ? Sure, it looks cool, but other than that, it doesn't seem to have any feature that other terminals would offer without eating all of you ram.

Upterm is also electron based, but at least it has distinguishing features with its ide like completion, so I like using it when resource consumption isn't an issue. But I really can't see the point of hyper other than "but it's JS based so it's kewl".

Can anyone enlighten me on hyper?

@CptFox hyper has some nice plugins and themes etc, and is especially nice on windows as a cmd replacement

@luckyalpaca Oh right, Windows CMD sucks. Would you have some examples of useful plugins? Although theming sure is good, it's nothing exceptional

Why not just use Linux bash on Unix subsystem on Windows then?
