lxmcf199507yCheck your power draw, I've heard of some consoles running and pulling more from the wall causing overheating.
I had a similar issue with my one X, buy it was because I was pulling power from a surge protected board and it wouldn't pull enough -
@hacker good thing DDG reminds you that -30 means extremely cold! Thanks DDG, I don't know what we would do without you

hacker17657y@Gnu-Not-Unix fair point. However, this warning is even on the news channels and what not...
And the warnings exist due to other factors like wind chill and humidity and stuff. The wind chill is the actual shit, the recorded weather is that but, this is the real weather (or what it feels like to humans, I guess): -

Update: I'll be receiving a new Xbox within the next 10 business days, downside is they've charged me for the new one and I won't get my money back till they get the old one.

So back on November 7th I received my Xbox one x project Scorpio edition, unfortunately the model I have suffers from some sort of defective thermal paste and after a good couple of hours of elite dangerous at 4k, it shuts itself down and I have to wait overnight for it to work again. Microsoft said if I send them it they'll give me a new one in about 2 weeks, my solution is to hold it outside my window for 5 minutes to cool it down. God bless the cold of the UK.
