Alright, since the organizer for the European devRant meetup canceled it (let's not get butthurt/hating etc), I'd love to (with the help of some other people) organize one myself since I was really looking forward to it!

Question would be, who'd be up for it?

Location would most likely be Germany since that's the most central point.

I hope you get back soon, with tons of happiness and devrant (atleast the old members who are here since the day u started organising and I have been through various of your rants and comments) always welcome you and don't worry, for some silly event, you won't be judged wrong. You had your opinions and everyone has one. Noone is right, noone is wrong.

If there's a battle between Lower Saxony and Baden-Wurtemberg, Northrhine-Westfalia lays between the two and is very central for middle Europe.
Maybe Cologne or Bonn are perfectly appropriate for such events.

Coming from Copenhagen anything (at least south of Hamburg) would probably require flight, but if at all possible I'm very interested in participating either way :)

For the guys concerned about travel cost: I've ridden flixbus a few times now they're cheap and offer decently good travel in a bus. They also stop at hannover zob (central bus station) which is close to the train station as well. So I would voucher for them.

Most of my weekends this year are already full but when the meeting fits in I will join. Location anywhere Germany is fine for me.

In my opinion devrRant might not be the best place to communicate the organization of such events.

I am unsure about this being a good idea, but I would suggest using an irc channel for further communications.

What do you guys think? ^^`

I would really like to go, but since the cheapest flight for Germany is around 250€ I really can't. Oh well, maybe on a next time 😀
