typosaurus1215494dHaha, success :) I use dR for dating. I choose people based on their avatar. Some avatars are so hot. Phew!

im EXTREMELY conservative (not republican\democrat)...
several years ago on a dating site (one that's not advertised to the random public), I caught the interest of this kid (was my age-- mid 20s at the time... i think). I didnt have my views listed in any obvious way.
He was a bleeding heart liberal that almost immediately told me he was on track to graduate college (undergrad i think) and run for some form of state rep.
The idea of anything in my realm of relationships with someone so polar opposite was intriguing, nearly kinky.
So I figured id chat with him...
-Never lived on his own.
-Never held an adult job\paid bills
-His 'i understand minorities and ghettos' proof was a single story about being in a car with 3 suddenly "best friends" 2 were black and he was in the detroit ghetto (nearly suburbia, he named roads)
-"deep understanding" of poverty "almost 6wks my dad and I had to survive off only 50$\wk for food... dads diabetic!"
too adorable for my tastes -

hes also 5ft 4 and apparently lives in a motorhome
all his pics look like a serial killer... but i question his ability to kill once, much less evade capture enough to qualify for a series. -

yeah... didnt check if devrant killed the photos again. that said, its not THAT exaggerated
i did call... i don't remember if it had a voicemail or not... if it did,i definitely left a msg, if not, i def sent a text... no response -

A motorised home.
Typically you see them with corny families that want to 'explore', go on long roadtrips for the 'experience', claim to enjoy 'camping' but find the outdoors too frightening... or old/retired couples trying to be whimsical or check things off a bucket list before dying and/or being stuck in a nursing home. -
typosaurus1215412d@awesomeest I've been involved with this type of thing several times, once when I was about 18 years old and just out of high school. My family had gone on quite a few camping trips together but never one like the one we were going on - we were actually going to be living in a motor home. We rented it for two weeks and drove around the country, sleeping in different towns and staying at various campsites each night.
The idea was that it would be a fun adventure for all of us, something we could look back on with fondness once I left for college. It did have its ups and downs - there were times when it felt like we were constantly on the move, never really having time to settle down in one place. But overall, I think it was a good experience.
The motor home was definitely more comfortable... (Longer than dR comment allows). -

I dont like humans enough for extended interactions like that.
A couple weeks ago I drove 14hrs away(i live in michigan, had to go to a southern and west(of me) state) for business (albeit business involving a good friend).
He/the thing i was there to advise on, are definitely rural. Nearest motel/hotel/etc was over a half hr away so I stayed with him and his partner (and their flock of mostly chihuahuas). Not a tiny house or a ton of people, just 2 people i actually, genuinely like/respect/typically enjoy the company of... even had a room on the opposite side of the house.
Very laid back/no issues with basic pajamas (giant tshirt&boxers/pj pants)... still very relieved when i got home, minimal clothing, just Boomie(scardey-cat, part pittbull, doggo), JSON(tortoise) and me, in the middle of a corn field.
Don't get me wrong, there's several ppl i like, loads intriguing enough to enjoyably study(ie Sid). i just req periods of effectively having the whole world f off. -
typosaurus1215410d@awesomeest I don't have any issues with extended human interactions for work or pleasure. It's just that I value my personal time and need some privacy and quiet after being around people for an extended period. I appreciate the company, but sometimes I just want to be by myself without distractions. That's why I enjoy having a cat companion like Boomerie, JSON, and other animals who can keep me company while still giving me the space I need.

So I needed a break from all the straight computer logic for days... so i figured i had 2 options, argue with chatGPT or go back to a dating app.

So... because im curious, esp when it comes to perplexing linguistics... im def gonna ask if English is his 1st language.
Normally i can tell within a sentence or 2... even tend to know their native tongue by then... this one has me stumped.
Anyone wanna guess if hes a native English speaker???
Maybe ill make a modest prize poolif there's a few entrants.
(he has plenty of pics so ill be able to legally find out in a few min... but ill wait til i dont get a response for a week)
Ill probably make a script to strip out the auto-messages... replying with an auto ofc... and the mundane crap that shows they definitely didnt go beyond the pics.
