Is there any reason why people still use Internet Explorer

Many websites & services built using active-x & legacy stuff use IE. Too expensive to rebuild & renew.

With the exception of legacy systems, there are plenty of reasons, but none of them are good enough.

People use IE to download Firefox. 😎

Its the only browser you have after reinstalling the OS, so you have to use it to download chrome.

Governmental offices, hospitals and similar facilities don't have money to upgrade their infrastructure, so most of them are still using win95/xp and IE...

To fuck with developers of course :)

I have seen a few rants stating Korean loves IE. There is already a comment with some statistics above.

Another is Japan. The whole country relies on Excel and IE. From small shop to corporate and government.

I am pretty sure there are many other similar countries.

Reason?

Simple. Updating is not an easy option. Bascially they are just sticking to "Don't reinvent the wheel." mantra.
