Build one minigame each month. To get better with unity.

I'm a noob unity and game dev, literally know nothing except the name. Can I use Linux as dev environment? I have very basic Java, c# and advanced PHP background. How long might it take me to build like super simple game?

@CurseMeSlowly I believe there is a Linux Build of Unity 2017.3. I'm working on Windows. The coding language you can use are C# and JavaScript so with your background there should be no problem.
How much time a simple game consumes depends strongly on the game itself in my point of view. With Unity you can do quite a bit without even writing one line of code when you use free Assets from the store.
