When your CS professor doesn't have a single IDE or text editor in their dock/taskbar you really start to doubt their ability to program.

    To be fair, spotlight search is pretty grand. I have things docked (like Atom) and a lot of times I'm still just like *command space At* and it's there.

    Terminal is all you need, no need to dock

    I mean, I don't have anything on my taskbar except cmder, just 1 alias and I boot up my entire development environment, launch a Spotify playlist of my choosing and send a text to a friend of mine with a random r/ProgrammerHumor post, also a random ProgrammerHumor post
