Question about google crawler (?)

So, got a question, hopefully you have an answer.

I have a personal website that went up about 2 months ago that has a contact form.

Today I got two emails sent to me. This is the way I have coded it up.

But take a look at the name and message fields. I wonder if this is a google crawler submitting the form by any chance. I also got another email around the same time where the message and name field are reversed.

Anyone else experience this?

Hearing a lot about Microsoft trying to acquire Github here on devRant.

Made me think, if this happens what will happen to atom?

Development will likely continue but then you would have two electron based, open source code editors both by Microsoft and Github. Probably not that much different from now, but still feels awkward...

Any thoughts? I love both editors and use them near daily. I just hope Atom was more performant and as actively developed as vscode.

Looks like the Pied Piper team is also jumping on the vscode hype train!

Why is it that every time I need to get a quote online from an insurance company, despite having seemingly well designed websites they all fucking crash!

Half way through the “next” button will stop working for seemingly no reason and I won’t be able to continue with the quote.

Is it just a ploy to get me to call? WTF!

I recently saw someone complain because the name registrar would not name their daughter “is” because of their system (https://devrant.com/rants/1154582/...).

I have something to add.

Where I am from (India), local registrars intentionally misspell your name on the papers because than they can charge to a fee to fix it.

That’s why I hate India, too much bargaining for everything. This has happened twice in my family and both times we have refused to pay them.

Does anyone else get annoyed when your outside of a editor and you press the apostrophe/quote or parenthesis key only to outputs a single character and not a pair?

Got back from shift, currently 12 am.
Trying to cook rib eye. Went to grab skillet, accidently over a open flame. Heard a crackle and felt some heat.

Looked at forearm and I noticed that some of my arm hair was missing. It freakin burnt off and I could smell like something had burnt.

Wtf. I'm okay though. Just couldn't stop smiling. 😅

I didn't feel any pain though so just glad

Asked Google Assistant what it knew about me. Didn't expect this answer but surprisingly point on.

All that neural and machine learning is paying off in a seriously creepy way.
