Nothing wrong with being a Web Designer.

Wish I had the eye for it.

I wish I could have been better at designing things dude. I would have probably had a cash cow by now.

Making shit look pretty is an impossible task for me.

When it comes to me in shit form it goes out in shit form.

But I'm not a designer lol I've just been pigeonholed into CSS fuckery early in my career. I know a good bit of JS and some Angular2+ but don't really get a chance to practice between work and school. So as it stands I'm just a CSS guru

I'm a fe dev and have been for about 12 years now. You learn a lot more than how to make things pretty along your way :) I now can write a full stack web app with kick ass SEO and all the things. Give it time and keep learning.

@jamesharrington how naturally does it come? Im just now breaking into angular in a professional setting. Is it something you really need to practice often, or is work practice enough?

@Crazed to start off I did a lot of the back-end stuff on my own just kind of pet projects and lots of YouTube. Once I was fairly confident I found a job where I could do full stack development at an advertising firm. I learned a lot of stuff by necessity there.

Learning it did not seem very natural at first but once I was able to get into the mindset a lot of things became easier to learn.
