At what point is it acceptable to return support requests with Read the ****ing Manual?

    I copy and paste the user documentation, and attach the thing to every response. they'll get the hit, hopefully.

    Copy the paragraph/tittle of the issue in the manual and, at the end add "for additional detail see the manual"

    3 times after this, you have grounds to show it to your boss and say, the little dumbasses don't bother to read the manual, deal with it...

    I'm in a two person company and I can't pull crap like that, I have to settle with a nice message with a link to our knowledge base

    Some people never learn. I've repeatedly told my coworkers, even upper management, where they'd find documentation.

    But still they apparently find it easier asking the same question over and over - making a total ass of themselves.
