In the very rare occasion that I boot into windows instead of linux is when I want to use Photoshop to edit some photos - usually works fine. USUALLY. I now see why everyone complains about windows updates

    Update 2: haven't used windows in months, haven't used internet explorer in literal years, if ever.. yet, CCleaner has somehow found 5 GIGABYTES of internet explorer temporary files.. WHAT?

    The difference to linux is, that windows forces everybody to keep it up to date and therefore secure, especially with all the shit recently needing a patch.

    On bleeding edge systems you also update regularly, to not break it all, but you are free not to update until updating on batch will just ruin your entire installation.

    The "complaining" about windows updates is half the time for clicks/upvotes and the other time just to satisfy the retarded screeching some people have as a routine.

    @IllSlapU oh it's not actually, just looks like because of the bad quality of my phone camera

    @JoshBent I know there's a lot of complaining about windows, I usually don't have a problem with it, but I think this is justified

    @j4cobgarby
    It is not fucking justified. You have not updated in a month so that is why Windows is installing ut, because you would not do it otherwhise

    @Linux okay I take it back, just thought it was funny
    As I've said, I have no problem with Windows

    maybe give qemu a try. saw a video just yesterday where someone was using it for Photoshop. Allegedly it's almost like a 100 % native performance. Haven't tried it myself yet so I can't guarantee it will be a good idea :-)
