to be fair I'd rather submit or receive surplus platform information than omit or miss relevant details.
-
@lorentz I'll grant you this.
Thing is, though, that a quick check would've shown whether this is a resolution problem or an Aspect Ratio problem.
Also, the game is multiplatform && a test lead wrote that.
I'd argue, that the lead should known better his project. -
@D-4got10-01 Absolutely, internal tickets should mention verified tickets. I thought this was a user ticket where it's nigh impossible to hunt down the author for clarification.
-
@lorentz Oh, no.
That came straight from one of the lead, internal testers.
I wouldn't expect that kind of knowledge from general users. -
retoor15908d@D-4got10-01 meh, as former lead at several companies I can tell you that the lead has the biggest mouth, not always the most knowledge 😂 It must be someone who thinks he/she's right all the time so that decisions are made. Team democracy sucks. Never leads to anything and most decisions don't matter that much at all. Choose smth and stick with it. I do listen to advise tho and I do realize that we often need some variation to keep it fun. But preferably smth proven. Don't care what cute animal the avatar is.

retoor15908d@D-4got10-01 hm, yes. But as I said, it doesn't matter that much what a lead chooses if you just stick with it and don't look back. Never reverted a decision afaik. I can convince an ice bear that a refrigerator is usefull for him if I have to. But I'm not good in marketing. Not online at least. I was just talking with Lensfairy about maybe make commercial product of my review system since it works so well.

You, sir, are failing at basic math && basic logic, among other things.
1024x768 _has_ an Aspect Ratio of 4:3.
If only you had bothered checking, you would've know that the issue is purely related to the Aspect Ratio && !just that one resolution.
