why do people want to post controversial / inflammatory things

I remember some users here like to aspire to that. I'm naturally inflammatory, like to such a degree people get aggressive. so what benefits am I getting that I'm not aware of because I have this natural innate ability. why would you aspire for this quality?

Some are just insufferable cunts. Sometimes you just want to be a cunt. Some are desperate to share their problems via a proxy. Need an audience to tell you how bad their life is, or was. Some are edge lords who need to express their significance. Some want to hurt people because someone hurt them. They become the thing that they hate.

Probably hundreds of motivations. Sometimes I just want to tell a rando to fuck off.

Lack of attention at home/mommy issues/small peen problems/unable to process their emotions

@retoor Well when you're stuck “alone” with people who don't understand your day to day, I can imagine wanting to reach out to people who do… totally wouldn't know what that's like… I haven't seen you be very controversial, though (that I can remember, maybe the Donald Ducks ;P)

@BordedDev statistically i'm quite alone, moved somewhere far away and didn't leave house much after that. But that doesn't matter, don't really feel that way and i'm happy as F.
