Why there isn't a special key on the keyboard which includes "; + enter"?
Or in general a keyboard with special keys for developers? 🤔

e.g. open/close brackets with one key, or "/>" as one single key., or ") + {"

Because why would you need such a keyboard when any proper IDE provides this functionality (automatic pairing of open-closed brackets etc) already.

@Kodnot because sometimes I don't have the time to open an IDE with this kind of settings and I have to use a simple notepad to make some code changes.

@irene I know it's already possible, but it's not the same that having physical keys to do it.

And what would be the point of it? I mean it's just two key presses and both ";\n" and "/>" are close on popular keyboard layouts.

@SgnfcntOverflow faster typing. “;” is a combination of 2 keys on my keyboard (Italian layout). So instead of pressing 3 keys I would prefer to press only 1
