I just asked chatgpt what it thinks what it means to be a troll in the context of social media.
And it pretty much is what my definition of a troll is.
A troll isn‘t necessary dishonest, but mainly tries to annoy people by posting provocative stuff in hope to get attention and to make people argue and fight with each other. Being dishonest only serves that goal by pretending to be bumb, but it‘s not the defining property.
