py2js27657yIf the task explicitly does not say that you can't take anyone's help then he is being an ASS
-
TobyAsE28117y@py2js we talked about the task and what should be done in order to finish it afterwards. But the task was assigned to him, not me. I didn't notice that.
I did fail quite spectacularly even trying to solve this...
I do really like working with him, I learn a lot and he tries his best teaching me -
py2js27657y@TobyAsE I don't even understand what this rant was about. Is he a bad one or good one? Were you angry at him? What was the problem exactly
-
TobyAsE28117y@py2js The rant is about my own incompetence. I didn't see that I wasn't supposed to work on the task.
He's the good guy.
Sorry if my wording was a bit confusing.

tommy15Right now someone at Google is coding something useless for us to laugh at on April Fools.
I was struggling with a task on a project and decided to call the colleague, who's working on this project as well (he built it, I am just on-boarding) to get some advice.
Literally the first thing he asked me was: "have you seen whom this task is assigned to?"
Fuck! So I spent about 1.5 hours on not finishing a task that I shouldn't have worked on in the first place. Great.
