Since day 1, I've been eager in learning everything dev-related in English, and as it, I've focused on thinking, writing, shitting and eating english for a basis.

Now, where I work, I say, our country native language it's Spanish, but I feel bad whenever they tell me I must write everything in Spanish (code included). Maybe I'm overreacting or something.

So, here's my question for you, devs, when you're working on a coding-related project, should it be on English or not?

Same feeling here. I always write even comments and readme in English. It makes all sense but always I have to code review, I read methods like agregarComment or shit like that XD not only is using spanish is using it mixed with english words.

Not only coding but software in general. I barely understand the translations to my native language.
Bad translations occur mostly because people here usually don't know English enough, or one button in English could be translated using four different words. There are no guidelines on how to translate software.
