I accidentally flashed Linux on the wrong partition of my harddrive. Lost 300Gb of anime 😭

@Pseudonymous I always "synced" them with a friend of mine. I got some of it back. The real pain was resetting the folder icons

I've done that more than once. Photorec can restore the partition table and you might be able to recover the files if you find it to be worth the trouble.

I already got most of it back. Now at over 500Gb. Most of them 1080p and 200-300Mb per episode.

Maybe if they're hard to find series or something, but 300GB worth of it?

@guio streaming would be a pain on my mobile data. I'm living in a dorm where students are not allowed to use the WiFi after 10pm and the speed is not really suitable for streaming.

That's why I download it in advance and keep it for nostalgia reasons
