It's all down to what works for you and what your dev env works in

    1) Use what you want
    2) Use what you need
    3) Use what gets your job done.

You're going to get some *very* biased opinions here. (#FuckMac lol)

If you like a somewhat bugfree system with which most if not all programs work but have restricted freedom (updates, ads etc.), go for Windows.

If you like an extremely customizable open-source system, are okay with tinkering with it once in a while and are okay with many programs not available, go for Linux.

To be honest, I don't know why would go for Mac. Some say the workflow is pretty good, but I never tried it (cause I never get it to run in VirtualBox...).

I'd say dual boot is a good option.. linux on one partition for dev environment, one partition for Windows, or whatever.

Linux is love. But if you are on a laptop that has an AMD or Nvidia gpu. Then probably stay away from Linux.

Best laptops for Linux are the one with Intel igpu. Well supported drivers with better battery life and rarely any graphics related crashes.

I had an all AMD laptop and linux treated it as a step child.

I am currently on Mac. Because sometimes you just need shit that works. Also something that allows propel to get root access by typing root as user 😂

@segfault0xff I have heard dual booting slows down or heats up the laptop
