I'd rather work someone doubting that they are a senior developer than someone who proclaims being a senior.

It the end titles are rubbish. Yet sometimes a necessary evil to ask for a certain salary.

That being said, once you start wondering you are halfway there. Then: do other developers come for you for advice? And: did you at least have one project fail?
