Hi guys, I have been accepted into game developing (college), do you have any advice (language, and etc) for someone looking to start learning before even he starts his college course?

I just do not feel that I should waste time to wait for my college to start and then wait for a couple of years before I do something... I would love to progress a bit faster, as I am highly motivated.
