    @pullervo On what exactly? Because it's loads of stuff 😅
  • 5
    For the record, I use all the screens!

    @linuxxx displays and computers(s) mainly. How many computers do you have or are all the monitors connected to one?
  • 2
    I See YouTube over there?
  • 0
    @linuxxx why not?

    @linuxxx Looks like you're hacking the NSA.

    @pullervo Don't know much about the displays tbh but I'll try my best:

    (left to right)

    Top: Sharp TV, two 17-19 inch screens.
    Bottom: about 20 inch monitor, 22-24 inch one and my laptop, 17 inch.

    Laptop: i5, 8gb, 500gb hdd. (all bottom screens)

    Computer: 6gb ram (2gb crashed last weekend 😭), processor hardly a clue but a custom built gaming pc I bought for 80 euro. Top two left screens connected to it.
    Used as a desktop pc and some vm servers.
    Has 250gb hdd but I attached an external 5tb hdd.

    Rack server: HP ProLiant (forgot the fucking model name again), multiple hdd's, system (Proxmox) runs on a 120gb ssd, 32gb ram.

    @EaZyCode Then your eyes are not failing!

    @linuxxx fuck, that is so awesome! The amount of effort to collect and curate it!

    Reminded me the scene from swordfish! 🤣
  • 2
    Wow, it's even bigger than before.

    @zlice Oh I don't like it at all due to no ssl being available for the free version and because it contains proprietary code but yeah, can't find a good alternative...

    @linuxxx
    How long did it take to set all this? I imagine that you added things as you got/needed them.
  • 2
    @ODXT Well I didn't actively searched for everything right away but most things, one weekend haha
  • 1
    @ODXT already had quite some stuff though :)
  • 1
    @Jilano Yes! Just need the money first 😅
  • 2
    Operating system on both my laptop and the computer by the way:
    KDE Neon 😍
  • 1
    @linuxxx What display adapter/docking port are you using to connect those monitors?
  • 1
    @Jantho1990 Just general cables and one hdmi to vga adapter :)
  • 2
    @linuxxx bruh, how does your neck not break looking at all the screens ? Must end up looking likr a damn owl eventually, twisting your head in so many directions xD
  • 2
    @linuxxx how are you alive with just 6/8 gb of ram 😓
  • 2
    @XiovV looks like something from a dream, i love it

    Thanks @linuxxx! Another question: Do you use Synergy or something similar to share keyboard and mouse between the machines?
  • 1
    And btw if you want cheap pixels, I can recommend running ~40" 4k TV. Works amazingly well and costs 300-400€. 4k is basically four fullhd screens: two side by side and another row below/above them. It's awesome how much code you can fit on that!

    Yeeeeeees!

    @Torbuntu Yeah, only use it for YouTube though because due to some add-on which causes Firefox to run in mobile mode I can't listen to YouTube in the background and I value my privacy more than to disable that add-on :)

    @linuxxx that looks awasome 😍
    Is this your main hardware?
  • 0
    @RootPixl Define main hardware? But yes, this is my main setup 😊
  • 1
    @linuxxx wow, next time someone tells me I have too many monitors, I'm sending them here 😄
  • 1
    @linuxxx I meant main setup
    It looks awasome 😍

    @linuxxx why would you want to force mobile mode?
  • 0
    @linuxxx I bought Synergy 2 for 4 euros, muhaha - Nice set-up, even though my eyes hurt by the difference in sizes lol

    Could use some better wallpapers tho.
  • 1
    Cab You control skynet from here ?
  • 1
    O from 007 will drool on your keyboard now.
  • 2
    I see KDE, I ++

    @linuxxx if all the hosts are running Linux and you'd like a FLOSS program for moving mouse/keyboard focus between displays, I'd recommend X2X.
