@Haxk20 RR is based on LOS. I'll suggest Dirty Unicorns or something based on it like AEX

Very happy with the camera app of LOS. It is lot better than the Lemax's android camera app. The photos and videos are good for my needs. Would see if I can post some pics. -

I am no expert in installing custom ROMs, so wanted to be doubly sure that the Custom ROM would work on the device with all the Camera and sensors. Lineage listed all the supported devices and that gave me the confidence to purchase the device at dirt cheap rate. It installed flawlessly. I did not root the device since it blocks my financial apps. I am very happy with the battery performance, no issues. -
albertb67yHow does it battery life fare? My sister had one, initially I thought it was a steal deal at 17k (Indian rupees). But later on, the battery life was just pathetic. Let me know your stance.

The specs look really nice. Might even buy one, if only did it not lack microSD and headphone jack.

I need to charge once a day, but boy, it charges very fast, did not measure it specifically, but my guess is around 1 to 1.5 hrs. I was used to 2 to 2.5 hrs of charging, but now, whenever I pick it up to check, in my mind the guess is around 70%, but it turns out to be 100%. -

The phone with its pre-installed Android was really pathetic. Battery used to get drain quickly. Also, the Jio 4G sim, even putting in primary slot was having frequent call drops, low internet speed. The phone used to hang on incoming calls. The pre-installed junkware were taking more than 50% of storage which could not be uninstalled. After installing LineageOS, I just can not believe its performance. -

For Rs. 700, I got a usb-type C LeEco CDLA wired headphone, which is very premium quality, sounds amazing, par with Apple wired headphones. But mostly, I use my bluetooth headphone. LineageOS inbuilt "AudioFX" app is great for sound adjustment. Weekly, i just attach my USB pendrive to the phone and transfer all the photos and videos, so MicroSD card is not an issue. -
@Haxk20 I still use lineage after years and don't miss features from RR. Sure, they were cool and I used them when I had them, but lineage has enough to not miss anything. And it feels more polished, partially because it lacks the bloaty features.
Also, checking for official LineageOS rom is a great way to tell if most of the phone's features are supported by custom roms. The wiki page will tell if something is broken, and it has to be a minor thing. -
10 days. Your notifications look like you left it running for 10 months without looking at it.😂

LeEco India shut down..parent company in trouble too..no software updates.. pre-installed software is shit making phone useless..but the hardware is awesome..this just needed a good OS. -

Sorry for a noob question, but is a flagship of 2016 better than a mid-range SoC like SD636?

I wanted an Android phone with latest Oreo version, atleast 4gb RAM, 32gb or more with good processor supporting 4G dual SIM with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels at US$ 100.
Well got for all of it for US$125.
I went to LineageOS site, exported and filtered all supported devices with my relevant device attributes.
Got LeEco LeMax 2 for US125$ on eBay. Installed latest LineageOS 15.1 with Android 8.1.0. got 25gb free space.
Using the phone for last 10 days, flawlessly.
