The US political system at the moment:
"Do so much crime the courts can't stop all the crime" -
@atheist what part of that seemed like a lecture? I already heard from someone on here that spain is getting sketchy as well. I am trying to gauge stability. A couple of you on here have wondered if you should leave.
The areas that are sketchy in the US are primarily places that don't enforce crime. But domestic terrorism is a federal crime. So the feds are cracking down on it. But places like California don't keep criminals in jail. Those places in the USA are shitholes to live in. Seems like European countries going to single party (similar to California not representing both parties) would be a sketchy place to live? -
retoor77292d@Demolishun what you're saying now is the weirdest shit ever :P Nobody is thinking about leaving. That's some propaganda I guess.
-
@Demolishun lecture was figurative, but you were somewhat speaking down to Europeans as an American
-
galena73982dFeels decently stable here. I feel like most of it is jus fallout gettin carried over here by winds from the US
-
retoor77292d@Demolishun what will you do today? Burn a Tesla or protecting one? *laughs in batavus*

Looks like it feels.
Entitled.
People are leaving, absolutely.
People in cosy spaces, with time on their hands to comment such conversation, seem to have found a good spot to stay in. -
Fuck off omg that woman straight up embezzled money.
Not even mentionning the fact she's a fascist and the daughter of a guy who tortured people in algeria.
Please start thinking -
kiki369932dUS is too obsessed with ruling the world for its own good. Europe is the only place that had the balls to say "yes, we don't rule the world, so let's quit this race to focus on making our citizens' lives better."
Yes, they can only say that because US protects them from Russia/China. It doesn't change the fact that right now, Western Europe is the best place on Earth to live. Social liberties, unions, free things, human rights, etc.
If you want to start a business, go to offshore jurisdictions. If you want to start a big business, go to the US. If you want to just live quietly as a private person, there's nothing better than Europe. -
kiki369932dI think that you favor two party/multi-party political system because of its supposed resilience against turning into a dictatorship. While that makes sense, in practice, a country turning into a dictatorship is a lengthy process.
Meanwhile, the US has a rogue government-level actor that has legal power to do absolutely anything it wants, yet it doesn't hold elections. It's called CIA. They don't care about who's the president. They even admit to commiting atrocities against US citizens, yet they always face no repercussions whatsoever. To me, that's way more scary, and I'm from Russia. I'm way too familiar with this kind of stuff. It happened to my family in the past.
US has the legal way to make anyone they want disappear and have no investigation held. Such a good tool for taking out "inconvenient" people before they become dangerous. -
kiki369932dThe scariest thing about CIA is that if _your_ friend or relative disappears, you can seek justice all you want -- all you'll be met with is "yeah, CIA do be like that, what do you want us to do?"
What you should do is to get your AR-15, organize and go demand reorganizing/abolishing CIA right now, e.g. execute your 2nd amendment in a way you claim it was designed for. You know that solving the CIA problem is long overdue. Yet, your brain will vehemently reject that idea, because if you admit I'm right, you'll have to do a LOT of mental recalibration. Your brain doesn't want to do that because it's hard wired to conserve energy, and CIA _knows_ that. They know a lot about human brains, not just because of MKULTRA. -
If we were to leave, where would we go?
And where would all the refugees fleeing to Europe go? Would they have Europe for themselves then? -
@Demolishun
Yeah, what I said about Spain mostly holds, tho not even then have gotten to the point of jailing political opponents (although I have no doubts Perro Sánchez masturbates at the thought).
In France, from what I know, the prosecution against Le Pen is not tied to any political reason.
Dunno about Germany though.
All for all, in my opinion, EU has gotten too soft for its own good, and woke politicians have infested every institution with their shitty agenda, and now that security ain't guaranteed, that we are getting flooded by refugees, immigrants, and criminals, that we may be facing economic recession, and such, people are starting to get fed up, and therefore vote for right wing parties because they say what they want to hear. And the current governments (socialists mostly) fear this not because of political disagreements, but because they know they'll lose the power and access to state money for their debauchery. -
@CoreFusionX yea it's very simple. These idiots got caught red handed hiring people with UE money and using them for personal purpose. And not only political stuff, one guy were walking dogs and doing laundry. The centrist, the left-wing party have done it as well. The only reason it's "targetting the opposition" is because the liberals have too much money already. You know, coz they're in power.
Hey that's politics for you. Winners gets bribed, losers have to resort to embezzlement.
@Demolishun quit believing fox newz. Imagine you're paying taxes in your state and then some senator from fucking montana use federal fund to redo his fucking garden.
I mean they prolly do already but still. Not kool -
@ANTIASYLUMIST I don't watch any old MSM. They are dismantling USAID. Which does exactly what you say.
-
@ANTIASYLUMIST If she's your wife and you are a citizen she is not a refugee, dumbass.
-
@ANTIASYLUMIST
> my wife's a refugee bitch.
I‘m honestly not sure if you are calling your wife bitch or @CoreFusionX -
ANTIASYLUMIST4720h@CoreFusionX she's not recognized as a refugee even though her family tried to kill her for smoking cigarettes. She have nowhere to go.
I hate entitled bitch francoist fascists like yourself. You don't know shit and you talk -
ANTIASYLUMIST4720h@CoreFusionX and no, retard, marrying have nothing to do with the refugee status. Nor does it protect her from expulsion.
You're a scum and you don't even know it lmao
Are people still questioning leaving Europe?
I was thinking it would probably be okay in general to stay. But then I see French and Germans are jailing political opponents.
IMO this is a huge red flag. They tried that shit here in the USA and even shot at political opponents. If they had succeeded I wonder if we would be in a civil war.
But Europe doing this concerns me more than Ukraine conflict. This feels like another build up to 1850 in Europe. I dunno, what are your feels over there? I wouldn't want to be in a one party country.
