I think a world where Windows and Linux play nice together sounds awesome. Assuming they stay the course, it will still take a lot of time, but Microsoft has made significant strides toward this in the last couple years.

@Swifticus they really have. Also open sourcing a lot more (powershell, vs code) and integrating ubuntu bash into win10. they're making serious efforts, and I for one like it!

@yusijs absolutely! I use VS Code for a lot of things on Win 10 and OS X and I think it's a really great start. A lot of people don't see it, but the fact that they've already open sourced the .NET core and are releasing SQL Server for Linux is a HUGE step. I would hope it's only matter of time until they release Office for Linux and more.
