Reading your code from years back is one of the most painful experiences a developer has to go through.

    @h3ll I wish I felt the same way about my code. Looked back I somehow managed to write the same function twice without realizing.

    If you don't cringe at your old code it means you haven't improved since you wrote it.

    I've had both experience: (1) looking at some old code and thinking, 'Damn, I'm good!' and (2) just recently, showing my son some of my code and saying to him, "I'm going to show you some old code. Don't judge me." ;-)

    With the way javascript is developing, I'm struggling with my code 6 months back. Maintaining an angular1 app and writing a new angular2 app while doing nodejs in typescript on the background :-| also fuck microsoft for not supporting a damn thing from es6 in any IE version. Mother effing polyfills everywhere -_-
