wtf is going on. why are their brains like that -
@jestdotty this sounds like a drone that read an article once about preferred practices and didn't walk away with principles of the problem. Instead they took away absolutes which was likely a click bait title. So either they didn't read it and only saw the title. Or the content was way over their head. So incompetence at best.

Seeing OOP classes with more than a 1000 lines of code really pisses me off.
TeamLeader2 is currently attempting to kill a PR I worked on for the past three weeks because -in a listener function- I place a listener and that's supposedly bad practice
I have no idea how to tell him; an event causes the creation of an object -itself an event emitter-, and I want to listen to those events; I can't listen to those events without a listener on those events. There's no middle ground.
