Nvidia is currently running a competition on their Omniverse platform to win a top of the line RTX card
All you need to do is create a visually impressive raytracing tech demo... which requires a powerful RTX card... to win a powerful RTX card
Thanks guys4 -
SUPERVISOR: You wrote this 140 lines method, it's too long. You should split it up, it's not readable
IHateForALiving: Bruh be serious, this is a single switch-case; I can't split it.
SUPERVISOR: Fine, I'll do it.
HIS CODE: He split the 140 lines method into 2 methods: the first is 4 lines long; it's a try-catch surrounding a call to the other method, 136 lines long.9 -
Just found a stackoverflow thread that had no answer and 2 comments. Here are the comments:

In vulkan we don't say it works we say
VUID-vkAcquireNextImageKHR-fence-01287(ERROR / SPEC): msgNum: 207921847 - Validation Error: [ VUID-vkAcquireNextImageKHR-fence-01287 ] Object 0: handle = 0xe7e6d0000000000f, type = VK_OBJECT_TYPE_FENCE; | MessageID = 0xc64a2b7 | vkAcquireNextImageKHR(): VkFence 0xe7e6d0000000000f[] is already in use by another submission. Moments like this are why I pay my internet bill, even if we are all infected with “the stupid” I love you guys
Inb4: a good post also died for this17 -
We kinda feel the feature you lead was messy because even though you brought up valid use cases and we decided to postpone the development of those till the next release, the user wanted them and we pressured you to get it done in a couple of days…which lead to a slightly buggy less than perfect release…so yeah, even tho you saved our asses for secretly starting development of those extra use cases beforehand we won’t showcase it as a successful release.

I love how I watch a tut for a specific problem and then go down to the comments and see ppl say things like, "Awesome, dude you saved me hours. Now, can u show me how to do, this, this, this, this and this?" 🤦🏾 I'm like, bruh, u can't figure out how to do at least one of those things on your own??? 💀2

Bruh, I tried so many times to explain a problem that something I could have done in 2 days stretched over a month.
The point was to give them a chance to learn and get familiar with the programming language we use. This task was supposed to have no have no deadline, but it's been too long, so now there's a deadline and the work so far was so unsatisfactory, that I'm rewriting it myself, despite having 3 upcoming deadlines on top the fact that our best engineer will not be there for the next week, just because someone doesn't have the ability to think themselves, even though receiving higher education, even though I always lend them an ear and personally guide them, going as far as giving them a step by step guide, just to be greeted with a something wrong after days of no asking for help, followed by days where I need to explain <20 lines of code for literal hours in hopes they learn how to think for themselves.
Also, I don't know when to finish a sentence1 -
I’m so done with people bruh. Getting friends an adult is literally just having pissing contests about status, money, and power. Like am I just supposed to sit there and really truly believe that something fucking POSITIVEEE will come out of my restraint instead of taking two hands and beating their face into a fucking bowl when they talk to me rude?!? “Like no I don’t mind at all how you mentioned your cool new house in that manner, I really hope it doesn’t burn down with your family inside :)” The amount of conceited, prideful, scumbag, asshole, penisbreath, pieces of raw shit that inhabit the earth makes me question my own validity for existing. 99.999% of people I would never want to marry, be friends with, or even really speak to - because you know what?!? - because why??!? - because it’s a waste of my own fucking time that’s why. I could think of a million things to do that would actually benefit us all instead of being entrapped in a useless fucking social experience with these fucks. Everyone is a obese fucking pillow princess, and I hope the only thing that they can eventually fuck is themselves. FUCK7

How do people make well organized js backends? I've been using express for a long time for simple backends and messing about with APIs but I can't seem to organize it in a way that feels efficient enough for my standards. I'm wondering if other people with lots more experience than me have either resources or rules that help them keeps these kinda projects organized.8

when you gotta generate some product ideas and work for the first time at a new company when you've spent your career as a heads down code monkey
bruh i dont know any of the stats or data, or the product yet -
I've been feeling a lot of burnout these past few days/weeks... But like only in a specific programming language? Which is an issue cause I mainly work on python and I can't seem to bring myself to do that while learning and working with new languages/frameworks in classes are no problem.1
