GET FUCKING VIVALDI!!!
This Browser has DAMN NICE MOUSE GESTURES!

You do them while holding right click.
For example right click held and swipe/moving the mouse to the left/right brings you backward/forward.
There are several others and you can make them by your self.

Just browsing anything. IT'S FUCKING DAMN FAST.
INSTALL VIVALDI AND ENABLE MOUSE GESTURES! After aprox 3 Days you won't want to have any other browser anymore.

(Could've just simply said that I love the browser because of that feature. But this is DevRANT!)

Hmmm... I'm on the bed with my phone... I should try it tomorrow with my computer

@Alice Right clicking still works as intened though.

@darkterbear Nice Idea. I'll try it, too.

@pollux It also uses the chrome engine. Maybe not equipped with the super-newest stuff from Google Chrome, but decent enough with same Devtools, extensions and optional drm-support.

@DudeCoder You're right. But since everybody does it... I just wanted to be sure / try it.
It's nice to know that this community isn't as spoiled as on YT, Instagram, etc. .

@2lazy2debug That might work out, too. I also have the possibility with 4 Macro keys. But I only use two of them for OS-Stuff and disabled the other ones. (I use a right-handed mouse with my left and those disabled button are either hard to reach or will get hit accidentally).

I would say, it is even faster than to reach out for a macro key. It just feels natural, while I'm irretated when it doesn't work in another browser.

Those mouse gestures are actually annoying af. At least to me. I really often accidentaly close a site because of this

@Binary Interesting. I personally never experienced the problem. And if, reopening the last Tab is just another gesture.

Tbh, it takes some time to get used to, but when it is awesome.

@LinusCDE actually i dont event use mouse gestures, just often i accidentaly press right mouse button and slightly move it down (or something like that) and the tab closes

@Binary Maybe get a mouse with which you get less accidental clicks.

@2lazy2debug Vivaldi is from the original Opera devs. That's also why it's so similar. Like built-in email client, gestures and stuff.

Using a mouse? Oh, please. Where are your Vim key-binding plugins?!

I used to for a while and it was pretty cool with all the customizations, but they didn't have bookmark or extension syncing.

    Pale Moon > Vivaldi

@Linux Never heard of that browser. I'll give it a look.

Tbh I don't like it much. Memory consumption is about the same as Chromium which is expected as it's based on chromium.

But yeah not my browser :)
